Welcome to Lake Champlain Pet Spa. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our grooming services and website. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
Lake Champlain Pet Spa offers professional grooming and spa services for dogs and cats, including but not limited to:
All services are performed by trained professional groomers using industry-standard equipment and pet-safe products.
Appointments can be made by phone, email, or through our website contact form. All appointments are subject to availability and must be confirmed by Lake Champlain Pet Spa staff.
Clients should arrive on time for scheduled appointments. Late arrivals may result in shortened service time or rescheduling. Pets should be dropped off during designated times and picked up promptly when services are complete.
For the safety of all pets in our facility, we require proof of current rabies vaccination for all pets. We strongly recommend (but do not require) that dogs also have current vaccinations for:

We reserve the right to refuse service or require veterinary clearance for pets with serious health concerns.
Pets with fleas, ticks, or other external parasites will be treated with appropriate products (at additional cost). Pets showing signs of illness may be refused service and owners will be contacted to arrange pickup and veterinary care.
We will assess your pet's coat condition upon arrival. Severely matted coats may require:
Matting is painful for pets, and safe removal takes priority over aesthetic preferences.
We will work to achieve your desired style, but final results depend on coat type, condition, and pet cooperation. Our groomers may make adjustments based on professional judgment and your pet's welfare.
Grooming times vary based on pet size, coat condition, temperament, and services selected. Estimated completion times are approximate. We will contact you when your pet is ready for pickup.

While we conduct basic health observations, we are not veterinarians. We will notify you of any concerns observed during grooming, but we cannot diagnose or treat medical conditions.
Grooming senior pets or those with health conditions carries additional risks. By proceeding with services, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Lake Champlain Pet Spa is not liable for health complications arising from pre-existing conditions, provided we have exercised reasonable care.
Lake Champlain Pet Spa's liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages except in cases of proven negligence or intentional misconduct.

Final prices may differ from initial estimates if additional services are required or if coat condition is more challenging than anticipated. We will contact you before proceeding with significant additional charges.

We may take photographs of pets during or after grooming for business purposes, including:
If you do not wish for your pet's image to be used, please inform us in writing.
Pets must be picked up on the day services are completed unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Extended boarding is not available.
Pets not picked up within 2 hours of notification may be subject to additional boarding fees.
Pets not picked up within 7 days and with no owner contact will be considered abandoned. We will make reasonable efforts to contact you using all provided contact information. After 7 days, pets may be surrendered to local animal control or rescue organizations in accordance with Romanian law.
If you are unsatisfied with our services, please contact us within 48 hours. We will work to address your concerns promptly and professionally. Issues that cannot be resolved directly may be subject to mediation under Romanian law.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of BucureČti, Romania.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lake Champlain Pet Spa regarding use of our services.
